much 可修饰比较级，表示“……得多”，相当于a lot。

eg：He is much/ a lot stronger than his little brother.

他比他弟弟壮实得多。

【拓展】在比较级前加a little 或a bit ，表示“……一点”。

eg：Kate is a little/ bit taller than Mary.凯特比玛丽高少许。

◆She works for the newspaper and gives advice to people.

她在报社上班，并给人们提供一些建议。

(1)work for表示“为……工作”。

eg：She doesn't want to work for the company.她不想为那个公司工作。

(2)give advice to sb.给某人建议，劝告某人
