mark/mːk/ v．标记

eg：He marks “Be Careful” on the box of eggs.

他在装鸡蛋的箱子上标上“小心”的字样。

mark还可以作名词，意思为“分数，成绩”。

eg：I want a good mark.我想要一个好成绩。

mark one's calendar意思为“标注某人的日历”，即在日历上标出有意义的日子。

eg：We are marking our calendar，because we 

will have a party next Sunday.

我们在标注我们的日历，因为我们将在下

周日举办一个聚会。

on Tuesday，December 6 在十二月六号星期二

介词on用于具体某一天之前，如星期几、几月几日、生日等特定的日子。

eg：on Monday 在星期一 

on December 1在十二月一号 

on New Year's Day在元旦 

on Christmas Eve在平安夜

dinner/'dInə(r)/ n．晚餐，正餐，指较为正式的一餐。

dinner 前有形容词修饰时要加上冠词。have dinner有时也可以和“have supper”互换，但要注意breakfast，lunch和supper前面不可使用冠词a或the。

eg：Brian is having breakfast.布莱恩正在吃早餐。
