①favourite (形容词)最喜欢的

例句 Red is my favourite colour.红色是我最喜欢的颜色。

拓展 favourite还可以作名词,意思是“特别喜爱的人或物”。

例句 The dress is my favourite.那件裙子是我最喜爱的。

用法 表示“某人最喜爱的……”,favourite前要用形容词性物主代词。

②colour (名词)颜色

例句 My favourite colour is red.我最喜欢的颜色是红色。

拓展 colour和color都是颜色,区别在于:colour是英式写法,color 是美式写法。
