地点与场合类试题通常有以下几种提问方法：

(1)Where is the speaker now?

(2)Where did the conversation probably take place?

(3)Where is the man probably going?

它的特点是考题就对话双方直接或间接提及的某个地方进行提问，只要我们抓住一些和特定地点有关的常用词，就可以正确回答问题。高考听力中一般都会考到某个地点。高考中一般会出现学校、家里、图书馆、餐厅、机场、商店、邮局、宾馆等地点。

遇到直接型试题，选项中的地点直接出现在对话中，只要抓住表示地点的名词即可；倘若是含蓄型试题，就要注意听对话中有没有与地点相关的词。例如：与饭店相关的词： reservation，menu，order，beer，drinks，eat，bill等；与商店有关的词： customer，assistant，clothes，price，cheap，expensive 等；与医院有关的词： doctor，nurse，medicine，patient，check，headache，toothache，flu，cough等。其他场合出现的词考生可以在平时多加留意，并作归纳。值得一提的是，有些对话往往不会只涉及一个地点，录音中通常还会包括与两个甚至更多的地点有关的信息，这种情况下，读题是关键，只有认真读题，听的时候有所侧重，才能顺利选择出正确答案。

【解题思路】　此题考查的是地点题，根据对话内容我们可以知道女方去过长城、颐和园、故宫博物馆、张家界、庐山和桂林。由此可以推出女方正在中国参观。答案选C。

A.At the airport.B At the meeting.C.At the international flat.

M：Have you heard that all the international flights have been canceled because of the weather?

W：No，I’ve been in the meeting-hall all day.

M：Unfortunately，I found it out while waiting for the flight to New York.

【解题思路】　此题考查的是场合题，根据对话内容我们可以知道男方是在等候去纽约的飞机时听到航班取消的事。答案选A。
