1. ARG takes care of pets without a home. 　        

care名词，意为“照料，保护，小心”， care作 

名词时常与动词take连用, 构成短语: take care 意为

“小心”；take care of 意为“照顾, 保管”，相当于look after。

例：He is old enough to take care of himself. 

= He is old enough to look after himself. 

他年龄足够大，能照顾自己了。

【拓展】care的不同用法

(1) care作动词, 意为“关心；在意”。

例：I don’t care what will happen in the future. 

我不在意将来会发生什么。

(2) care的形容词形式为careful，意为“小心的，仔细的”，副词形式为carefully，意为“仔细地，小心地”。 

例：She is a careful girl. 她是一个细心的女孩。

2.   Sometimes，people move away and they can't

(1) move away 离开，搬走。

例：They are going to move away next Friday.
