“When is sb’s birthday?”的用法

“When is sb‘s birthday?”意为“某人的生日是什么时候？”，是询问生日的句型，其答语为“sb.s birthday is…/It’s…”。

—When is your mother‘s birthday? 你妈妈的生日是什么时候？

—It’s on August 6th.在8月6日。

when的用法

when在此处用作疑问副词，意为“什么时候，何时”，用来对“时间”进行提问，其同义短语是what time，位于句首。

你将何时吃午饭？

the rest的用法

the rest意为“……的其余部分”，可指人或物，可用于修饰可数名词和不可数名词。需说明具体的对象时，用the rest of…，谓语动词的数和主语保持一致。
