around the world全世界，相当于all over the world。

eg：We have friends around the world.

我们的朋友遍天下。

people /'piːpl/ n．作“人，人们”讲时，

是集体名词，不能用a或one修饰，可以

用some，many，a lot of等修饰。People作主语时谓语动词用复数形式。

people后谓语用复数形式。

eg：Many people like playing computer games.

许多人喜欢玩电脑游戏。

people是集体名词，指“人们”，people本身就可以表示复数概念，不需要再加­s；如后面加­s，则表示“民族”。

eg：There are three people in my family.

我们家有三口人。

There are fifty­six peoples in our country.

我们国家有56个民族。

men/men/n. 是名词man的复数形式，

属于不规则变化。

考查名词变复数的不规则变化。

如：man→men；woman→women；child→children；foot→feet；tooth→teeth等。
